Unable to View HTTPS Sites On A Mac Using a Sonicwall?

Mac os x unable to browse ssl sites. Bypass sonicwall on mac.

I am trying to set up a user that utilizes a MAC to surf the web. The client is unable to browse HTTPS sites when behind my Sonicwall TZ180 firewall. To rule out a MAC OS issue, I had the client try and connect his machine directly to the cable modem and he can browse just fine. The user has tried using both Firefox and Safari to access these types of sites, and they both end up timing out on him without error.

So far I have tried unblocking the sites in question in content manager, setting up a rule that says that anything coming from that machine's IP address is to be totally unfiltered, I tried adjusting the WAN MTU's to 1400 thinking it might be a time-out issue there, and nothing has worked so far.

this also happens if you put Firefox on a Windows OS (XP or Vista) and works just fine bypassing the firewall.
Does anybody know how I can make this work using the Sonicwall and not having to have a direct internet connection for the client?
