My laptop is new and came with McAfee on it, and I used the free 90-day trial on my computer. The subscription is now up, and I want to download new antivirus protection. When I download the new one, do I have to worry about it conflicting with McAfee, or do I have to worry about deleting it? If so, how?
you need to start pc in safe mode then go to add/remove programs and un install all mcafee software one by one then reboot pc in normal mode again then install new anti-virus program. mcafee has to be removed in safe mode so it's not running anything.
Never delete a program remove it by going to add/remove programs in control panel.

Before downloading new anti-virus you must uninstall another anti-virusprogram,otherwise there will be definitely a conflict.
