go to control panel, then add/remove hardware/software, search for anything that shows netgear, and remove all indicators-also go to hard/sound. remove from there also. this should remove the netgear router. also check add/remove programs. remove anything that shows netgear, select remove.
and then restart the system.once everything is removed--restart your system
Control panel --> Hardware and sound --> View Devices and printers ---> then delete it if you find it, Hope this helps
