What is a list of software, tools, etc...
needed for pc repair. want to go to peoples homes be able to test comp, hardware, sofware, virus scan, anything I would need.
also some good tools needed for building pc, changing all parts.
I have a laptop that i would take with me.
basic things id like to do:
Find source of consumer's pc problem
fix any virus's
check all hardware
upgrade/replace all hardware
virus scanner installs
network security
configure networks/pc's
basicly your basic/some expert stuff good range of things to make extra money on side.
any suggestion on what to do,charge(will go off of best buys geek squad and charge less alot less) what items software to use. you get the idea right!
If you don't know what tools you need, should you really by out messing with peoples computers? 
Seriously though, you can buy tool kits from any computer store, or online.

As for software, basically just start out with some basic diagnostic tools so you can figure out what you need, and build up your "inventory" of tools onto a flash drive or external disk.
use the hijackthis software, it is easy to use.
